Just Rights Europe applies a transparent fee policy. Our fees are set according to the complexity of the case and the time devoted to the file.
Our fees are calculated on the basis of an hourly rate. The exact rate is determined at the first consultation, according to the nature and the complexity of the case.
A flat-rate file charge, representing between 5% and 15% of the fees, is applied to cover administrative costs (correspondence, copies, telecommunications).
In accordance with Belgian legislation, VAT at 21% is applicable to the fees and to the file costs.
Costs arising from the involvement of third parties (translations, expert reports, bailiffs) are invoiced separately and at actual cost.
Invoices are issued monthly or on the closure of the file, depending on the length of the proceedings. A detailed statement of the work carried out accompanies each invoice.
Subject to certain conditions, litigants may be entitled to legal aid (pro deo). Please contact us to check whether you are eligible.

After a final decision of the highest national court, a case may be submitted to us directly for an assessment under the Convention.
